(BRUCE NYBORG) To reconstruct and repair an existing 4,004 square foot tenant space and it's 988 square foot mezzanine due to fire damage in a portion of an existing warehouse building per approved plans. Work to include: Remove and replace the existing interior gypsum wallboard and insulation; remove and replace the existing mezzanine stair handrails and guardrails; replace an existing restroom door; install a new exterior door landing and ramp; replace interior electrical wiring and lighting fixtures; interior finish work in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC; mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work; and all other work per the approved plans, attached plan review report, and the structural inspectors final approvals. NOTE: This building is NOT fire sprinklered. This building was originally built in 1981 under Ada County’s jurisdiction; it was later annexed by the City in 1999. Separate electrical and plumbing permits are required.**SRZ**

Received a telephone call from the contractor Dell. He was inquiring about parking and signage for accessibility. I informed him this was a fire damage permit and no occupancy is allowed under this permit. A new permit is required for occupancy once a tenant is ready to occupy the building because no prior occupancy permit was available. A review for accessible parking and signage would be done at that time. SRZ

Called the architect, Oscar and informed him about the telephone call with the contractor inquiring about accessible parking and signage. I explained a new permit for occupancy is still required and would be routed to Planning and Zoning for parking requirements. When the new permit is submitted a review for accessible signage would be part of the review at that time also. No tenant information was available from the owner. This permit was only to repair fire damage. The architect said he would pass the information onto his client Mr. Nyborg.
