Provide sprinkler protection in the two rooms that are located within the sprinklered portion of the building. One room is being used for storage the other is a telephone room. All other life safety items are ok.

Found out building is only partially fire sprinklered in accordance with previous approval by the fire dept. The fire dept. approved the building to be fire sprinklered as a B-2 occupancy catagory. No change in accordance with the old B-2 occupancy catagory. Thus the building is still allowed to be partially fire sprinklered, however, any change in occupancy from here on out will have to comply with the current code provisions for change in occupancy. See review notes items #2, 4 and 8 including door hardware at the main entry vestibule and east warehouse exit doors in need of revision, fire extinguishers are overdue annual certification by three years, permit documents indicate the building is fully fire sprinklered- however two offices, the vaults and the east warehouse area are not sprinklered. Advised tenant to contact plan review regarding provisions and requirements for fire sprinkler and main door exit hardware issues.

The application indicates 250 gallons of Class IIIB combustible liquids (water based paint) to be stored within the tenant space. This amount is within maximum allowable quantities for this building.
Final approval will be subject to satisfactory field inspection by the PDS Fire inspector.
