(HOLIDAY INN - KITCHEN AND LOBBY REMODEL) Fire sprinklers used for area increase, for height increase, and for story increase. To remodel the 6,150 square foot lobby, breakfast seating, kitchen, bar, front desk, and office area located on the ground floor of an existing 4 story hotel building. The bar, breakfast seating, lobby, front desk, buffet, and sundry retail were allowed uses within the lobby that was originally required to be constructed as a 1-hr corridor. Compliance as a 1-hr corridor is required to be maintained. Work is to include a decorative ceiling, suspended ceilings, an exterior door with sidelight, interior 20 minute doors, and finishes. A new oven and 2 new fryers will be installed under the existing grease hood in the kitchen. The egress system must be maintained unobstructed and the building occupants adequately protected from construction activities at all times during construction. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
