(Apartment Fire Repair) - To repair fire damage and clean-up of water/smoke damage due to an electrical fire in the ceiling of an existing tri-plex apartment building. Work to include: replace two ceiling rafters; remove and replace damaged sheetrock; remove and replace interior finishes and flooring covering; and electrical repairs. No structural repairs are allowed under this permit; All new and replacement drywall at the dwelling unit separation walls shall be of 5/8" type X drywall on each side and be constructed continuous to the roof deck. The installation of smoke alarms in each unit is required and be installed per chapter 9 of the 2009 IBC. All construction shall be per chapter 34 of the 2009 IBC, the approved plans, attached plan review report, and the structural inspectors final approval. A certificate of completion shall be issued when work is completed and a final inspection has occurred. This building is not fire sprinklered. **SRZ**
