(CAPITAL HIGH SCHOOL - stair addition) Areas within this permit scope of work will be sprinklered. To perform select demolition of two existing open exterior stairs and egress paths and courtyard areas in preparation for construction of a new enclosed access / egress corridor with additional storage area and new access / egress routes from existing exit doors from existing school classroom areas providing access to a new enclosed stairway opening into the existing courtyard at grade. Work includes modification to existing canopy; repair of exterior stairs and courtyard walkways; new canopy cover over the repaired walkway; a new accessible ramp access route, handrails, guards and door hardware; structural upgrades to provide support for new work and to add needed lateral support in portion of existing east wall of auditorium; install new and or relocated glazing systems; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and alarm work for the areas within the scope of this permit. Reviewed plan approval includes compliance with all red lines on plans an all attached plan review comments and conditions attached to plans by all plan reviewing agencies. drs
