(In Retrospect TCO) Inspection to determine requirements for issuance of a temporary occupancy in accordance with Resolution 13533, a policy allowing temporary occupancy in existing buildings that do not meet current IBC Standards for proposed occupancy use change. Approval for temporary occupancy use is dependant on Inspection approval of fire - life safety concerns, examples of which are attached to this permit for inspector reference and use. Upon passing of inspection a temporary occupancy certificate, good for 90 days, will be issued to the tenant. during this 90 days the tenant agrees to work with Jeff Likes, Architect, to provide plan resubmittals showing work to be performed to bring tenant space into compliance with current codes and ordinances under associated permit BLD12-00547, under review, such that all required upgrades can be completed within the 90 day time frame for permanent occupancy. E-mail to architect, Jeff Likes concerning need to provide letter from tenant, signed and dated, agreeing to comply with requirements of BLD12-00547 to have plans resubmitted, approved, permits issued and all required code compliance corrections completed within 90 days of issuance of temporary certificate of occupancy. This reminder to Jeff Likes accompanied the plan review comments for BLD12-00547 for required resubmittals. Tenant had submitted a request to the Building Official to allow temporary occupancy of the tenant space while plans were prepared showing code compliance requirements for review and permitting and then work done while business operated. A letter from the strcutural engineer, greg Leishman, Stapley Engineers accompanied the request, staing the evaluated live and dead loads of the proposed occupancy would not be a problem while the floor strcutural support upgrades were being installed.

Notorized letter of agreement from Nancy Zurcher, owner & tenant of proposed occupancy use change for retails sales, "In Retrospect" in existing building. Change of occupancy use requires building to be brought into compliance with current adopted codes, policies and ordinances. If imminent hazards discovered during inspection under this permit are corrected and approved by inspectors, a temporary certificate of occupancy will be issued to allow use as retail sales while required plans, reviews, permits, new construction and final inspection approvals are completed under BLD12-00547 which will result in a permanent certificate of occupancy being issued. Failure to comply and consequences there of to be as determined by Building Official which may result in revoking TCO and closing business until all required code upgrade work is completed.
