Work is to include wood stairs, wood landings, wood guards, wood walls, wood ceiling, and handrails. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. A resubmittal was received on May 22, 2012. The resubmittal was not reviewed because approval of the project depended on whether the Building Official would accept the substandard stairway that was constructed without a permit. If he rejected the stairway, then further revised drawings would be required and the time spent on the resubmittal review would be wasted. After the Building Official made a site visit, it was determined that the stairway needed to be demolished and a new stairway constructed. Revised drawings were then submitted on August 6, 2012.
