(OH CREPES AND SO MUCH MORE) This building does NOT have a fire sprinkler system. To remodel an existing 1,350 square foot tenant space for a new retail and dining tenant. Interior nonstructural demolition was done under permit BLD12-02569. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, a grease hood and duct, a service counter, a grease trap, and interior finishes. Two new beams will be installed to support new roof top equipment. A portion of an existing interior masonry shear wall will be removed and a wood beam installed above the new opening. A new interior masonry shear wall will be constructed in another location to restore and improve the lateral force resisting capacity of this building. Structural work includes a concrete footing, concrete foundation, a masonry shear wall, and load transfer connections. Special inspection is required for epoxy anchors and masonry. In lieu of upgrading the exterior North wall located at the North property line to comply as a party wall, a 25 foot non-build easement on the adjacent lot was approved. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
