Description
This project is for the addition of a new ctairway to an existing 180s.f. above grade deck at the rear of an existing single family dwelling in the Wildland Urban Interface "A" zone. There will also a new shade cover of 180s.f that is supported by the existing deck floor level to shade the main level deck area. The requirement of 4913 of the fire ordinance is waived per the Exception. Separate ESC12-00755 may be used with and attached to this building project. A letter from the applicant’s geotechnical engineer indicating that the footing sub-grade is acceptable must be approved by Public Works prior to scheduling a footing inspection.
