(RACKING PERMIT - racks within walk-in freezer)Per Idaho Statustes 54-5205 tenant is owner and acting as contractor ok per Jason Blais--12-13-12// To install a engineered steel rack system, declared by engineer to have been designed in compliance with 2008 RMI/ANSI Design Manual, within an existing walk-in freezer installed under BLD12-02749. There will be three steel storage racks. All racks will be 3'-6" in depth; one eight foot in length and two 4' in length. The rack frame height is 16' in height. Plans & engineering indicate three shelving levels at 54" on center with a maximum load per shelf of 4,000 pounds declared in engineering design data. Each column is centered on and supported on an 8" x 8" x 1/2" steel plate with a minimum of two ITW Red Head TRUBOLT Wedge Anchors per ESR-2427 (copy attached) with minimum embed of 3-1/4" into concrete floor. The owner is responsible for displaying a permenant plaque, not less than 50 sq. in. in area stating the maximum unit load and/or maximum uniformly distributed load per level, etc. in accordance with Section 1.4.2 of 2008 RMI (see attached plan review comments). Special Inspection is required for Red Head Trubolt wedge anchor installation per ESR report and for any field welding (if applicable). See Statement of Special Inspection attached to plans. MTI designated as Special Inspection Firm per e-mail from Charles Olsen, Bishops Storehouse representative. Separate applications and permit are required for modification to the sprinkler system (NFPA 13) and the alarm system (NFPA 72) before any work is begun, as regulated by the Boise City Fire Department. drs
