The occupied area of the 10th story includes medical exam and treatment rooms, a waiting room, a terrace, a conference room, and offices. At the same level as the occupied area of the 10th story is a roof area open to the sky with roof top HVAC equipment installed. The existing 2 separate smoke compartments will be maintained with a 1-hr smoke barrier wall between them. The existing I-2 Occupancy type corridor will also be maintained. Work is to include a toilet room accessible to the disabled, a bariatric toilet room accessible to those who are overweight, interior nonbearing walls, 1-hr fire-resistance-rated smoke barrier walls, I-2 Occupancy corridor walls and doors, smoke partitions, suspended acoustical ceilings, a dual height drinking fountain, millwork, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Quick-response fire sprinkler heads are required throughout the occupied area of the 10th Story. **CJW**
