Special inspection is required for welding, bolting, expansion anchors, and epoxy anchors. Before holes are created in the 3-hr fire-resistance rated floor, the floor is required to be X-rayed to ensure that no reinforcement will be cut. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances.
