1. There is no description of the construction activity to be performed in the narrative.
2. Please update the potential list of pollutants so that it is comprehensive of all pollutants and pollutant generating activities typical for this type of construction. This includes more than tracking and portable restroom waste.
3. The narrative states that material storage and parking will occur on the access road. Is this a construction access road or a public road? Material storage areas must be shown on the map and included within the limits of disturbance. Material storage occurring within a public right of way must have prior approval from ACHD.
4. Your plan indicates that NPDES coverage is required because it is a part of a common plan of development. Please confirm that this meets the definition of a common plan of development. Take note that if NPDES coverage is required, the plan submitted does not meet federal SWPPP requirements.
5. Please include measures in the narrative for concrete and paint washout. Show on the map a detail and location for the washout.
6. Please show on the map any storm drains and required BMPs located on Thornberry that could receive discharges from the project. Include a description for this in the narrative.
7. The drawing shows the existing driveway to be used for the stabilized exit however there is no access for the construction occurring on the southeast side of the property. Is there adequate access for concrete placement on the side addition? If not, what is the plan for gaining access to the side yard with construction equipment? Please revise the disturbance limits accordingly.
8. Lastly, these comments are mostly the same comments we discussed via telephone on April 16, 2013 for a previous erosion control plan. submittal. Please update your template and incorporate these comments in your future submittals.
