(TRIPLETT SUBDIVISION #2 - RETAINING WALL) Permit for the construction of a retaining wall varying in height from 2' to 8' feet in height. All work per the approved plans and the attached engineering. Any added surcharge will require a reevaluation of the retaining wall. A letter from the applicant’s geotechnical engineer indicating that the footing subgrade is acceptable must be approved by Public Works prior to scheduling a footing inspection. Call Jason Taylor at 384-3946. Prior to obtaining a final for the permit, the wall drainage system, construction, steel placement, and top of wall slopes must be inspected and approved by the structral engineer in a signed and stamped letter. Spoke with Jim Conger about the retaining wall and told him that no surcharge was indicated on the in the structural calculations and if a structure was placed on the lot above that imposed a surcharge on the wall taht there was a potential for a redesign of the retaining wall or that the structure would need to be replaced far enough away from the retaining wall as not to impose a surcharge. 7-9-13 at 3:30 PM CDM
