**SEE UPDATE AT END OF SUMMARY**(CONTEMPO TILE)**(VAN AUKER WAREHOUSE)** Permit to remodel an existing 16,655 sq ft warehouse / office / sales space per approved plans. The remodel of this space will occur on the 3,100 sq ft office/sales area. Work will include minor demolition as per approved plans to create new office lay out to extend existing sales area; there is no new construction as part of this permit. The building was constructed under BLD04-02121. The mezzanine was constructed under BLD05-00288. NO New racking over eight feet high shall be installed without a separate permit. This building is fully fire sprinklered ANY ALTERATIONS TO THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT, and shall be installed and maintained per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. AJS **UPDATE 8/9/13**The racking in this tenant space was originally going to be removed prior to Contempo Tile occupying the space. Contempo Tile is now going to keep the racking. FIR05-00112 shows the building sprinklered for high pile storage. The racks were installed under BLD05-01287 (*(GE SUPPLY)(Racking System)* To install storage racking within a new tenant space per approved plans and attached engineering. The tenant space was performed under Bld05-00288, Pallet racking of 168 inches high and 122 inches high.) I have spoken with Scott in PDS Fire and notified Van Auker (Ron) and Jason at Contempo Tile that they will need to provide a new evaluation letter from the spinkler company for the new commodities on the racks.
