On site to verify pitch of roof and underlayment. Had roofing contractor (six hoarses roofing, sub for THD) remove two random areas of roof singles to verify underlayment. Noted both areas had a 30 lb base layer and top layer 30lb. ASTM synthetic underlayment. Overall roof pitch was 2:12. This inspection is a scope of work for the re-roof only as noted in permits scope of work.

greg Phone #: ###-####. Roof pitch appears to be less than 2:12 pitch, per IRC sec R905.2.2, Asphalt shingles shall only be used on roofs greater than 2:12 pitch. If greater than 2:12 pitch provide additional underlayment i accordance with IRC sec R905.2.7. Also noted that roof is bowing, if repaired, if more than sheathing needs replaced, owner needs to inquire repairs from mobile home manufacturer, truss co. or engineer. Coerrction notice issued.
