Description
This project is for the remodel of an existing 1384s.f. existing single family dwelling and a detached garage. The dwelling portion will include interior partition work to open up the kitchen area and replace outdated wiring; concrete slab work in the basement and work on tyhe lower run of the stairway. The basement will also include the replacement of an existing floor beam with a new flush beam and joist hangers along with a new thickened slab at the interior column bearing. Separate electrical permit is required. Work on plumbing and mechanical will require permits prior to starting that work. The work at the detached garage will include the placement of a new beam over the existing overhead door of 7-0 x 7-0 to a 9-0 x 7-0 in a 16'-0" wall. This may require a portal frame configuration with a single continuous header. All per the approved plans as marked and the plan review notes. pep
