"ENTRY CANOPIES AND RAMPS" For the construction fo two new noncombustible entry canopies with associated ramps, stairs, handrails and new entry doors. Two existing exterior windows are being removed and two existing exterior windows will be replaced with safety glazing as they are adjacent to one of the new ramps. This building has been reclassified as a type IIIB building since the canopies extend into the 60' setback and no longer complies as and unlimited area building. Three sides of the building (North, East and West) have a minimum of 60' setbacks with the South side of the building has a 55' setback to the canopy. The building is 81,004 sq. ft. with a total allowable are with increases for frontage and sprinklers of 83,125 sq. ft. The exterior of the building is 8" CMU with roof construction of steel web trusses with wood top and bottom chords. The interior midspan bearing columns are steel. This building is fully fire sprinklered; any alterations tot he sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the fire department. CDM
