Hi Penny,

Based on our meeting, I understood Ben to say there would not be any commercial storage, just household. I looked on the Zippy website and discovered they do store commercial products. (At least at some locations) If this should turn out to be the case at this facility; than a completed High Pile Storage form #604 shall be completed for each commodity that will be stored. A new evaluation of the hazard would then be performed on the commodity. However, based on just household type furnishing, I believe Class IV would be adequate. The drawings would seem to indicate the building is 30’ at the haunches and you indicated storage of 24’ high. You also included a list of exempt storage items. IFC and IBC would apply especially Chapter 32 of the IFC. Table 3206.3 in IFC indicates fire sprinklers are required for Class IV commodities, 10000 sqft and Public Accessible.

(Ref: NFPA 13: 5.6.1.2.2) Unless the requirements of 5.6.1.2.3 or 5.6.1.2.4 are
met, mixed commodity storage shall be protected by the requirements
for the highest classified commodity and storage
arrangement.

(Ref: NFPA 13: 5.6.3.4.1) A Class IV commodity shall be defined as a product,
with or without pallets, that meets one of the following criteria:
(1) Constructed partially or totally of Group B plastics
(2) Consists of free-flowing Group A plastic materials
(3) Contains within itself or its packaging an appreciable
amount (5 percent to 15 percent by weight or 5 percent to
25 percent by volume) of Group A plastics

Contact April Wing at Boise Public Works to obtain manhole number for new public manhole. New manhole required to have a precast base per SD-501A. Contact Public Works 48 hours prior to sewer work in public R/W and obtain tap permit. Existing sewer line must be Re-CCTV'd up and down stream of new manhole and video submitted to Boise Public Works. Show all inverts for SSMH#1, match crowns of different sized pipe.
