Had a conference with Jerry ONeal, FPE. I explained to him both NFPA and FM would seem to treat this project as Group A plastics. However, IFC: 2012: 3203.5 would seem to treats this hazard as a Class IV commodtiy. Therefore, the existing Class IV sprinklers system was adequate. We did decided to add column sprinklers. 4/08/2016 TRF

Prescreen only. Spoke with Wade in regards to racking intake. He produce a sprinkler evaluation from Shilo Automatic Sprinkler, Inc. Randy Knuston. The existing system is apparently design for 16' high storage of class IV commodity. He was not totally sure what will be stored. I explained in depth class IV commodiy. I gave him a copy of 5.6 from NFPA 13 describing class IV commodity. He assured me the storage would be limited to class IV commodity (existing design). I approved, the intake.
