A SECTION OF WALL WILL BE REMOVED TO CONNECT TWO ROOMS CREATING ONE 597 SQUARE FOOT COMPUTER ROOM. IN ADDITION, A NEW FIRE PUMP AND FIRE PUMP CONTROLLER WILL BE INSTALLED IN A SEPARATE ROOM.) (9-21-15 PLAN MODIFICATION TO RECONFIGURE THE LAYOUT OF THE 3RD STORY.) (6-15-15 PLAN MODIFICATION TO CONSTRUCT A 441 SQUARE FOOT ENCLOSURE HAVING MASONRY WALLS (12 FEET TALL AND 10 INCHES THICK) AND NO ROOF TO SCREEN A NEW DIESEL BACK-UP GENERATOR. THE ENCLOSURE WILL BE LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE PARCEL. WORK IS TO INCLUDE CONTINUOUS CONCRETE FOOTINGS (3’-9” WIDE BY 2’-0” THICK) AND A CONCRETE SLAB ON GRADE (6” THICK). THE EXTERIOR WALL FINISH WILL BE BRICK VENEER AND STUCCO. THE WALLS ARE DESIGNED BEING FIXED AT THE BOTTOM AND FREE AT THE TOP WITHOUT A DIAPHRAGM AT THE TOP. SPECIAL INSPECTION IS REQUIRED FOR MASONRY AND POST INSTALLED CONCRETE ANCHORS.) To remodel the basement, 1st story, 2nd story, 3rd story, 4th story, and penthouse of an existing office building. Work includes the complete replacement of mechanical systems (except the existing chiller and the existing boilers) and upgrading the existing electrical service and system. Basement work is to include a new air handler unit, an enlarged exhaust air pit at grade, compacted gravel fill and a concrete slab at an existing mechanical pit, steel headers and jambs at widened openings in existing masonry walls, a steel header and steel jambs at a widened opening in an existing concrete wall, a masonry wall infill, concrete floor slabs at plumbing and electrical trenches, interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, a 1-hr stairway enclosure extension and poured in place concrete steps, 1-hr mechanical shaft extensions and repairs, new interior doors, new interior windows, suspended acoustical ceilings, millwork, and finishes. Cooking operations within the Pantry that create grease laden vapors or that expose the sewer system to grease are NOT allowed. 1st story work is limited to replacing exterior doors and sidelights. 2nd story work includes interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, new drinking fountains, suspended acoustical ceilings, millwork, and finishes. 3rd story work includes a 1-hr shaft extension adjacent to an existing stairway enclosure, the structural support for a new floor system between the 2nd and 3rd stories, and suspended acoustical ceilings. 4th story work includes interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, suspended acoustical ceilings, millwork, and finishes. Penthouse work includes a new air handler unit, a new opening in the penthouse floor for a new return air duct, and a concrete floor patch where the old return air duct was located. Special Inspection is required for concrete, bolting, welding, epoxy anchors, and expansion anchors. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13, including quick-response fire sprinkler heads installed throughout the building where required, and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**

some revisions/additional scope drawings that i need to upload for city review. The project is currently has TCO's issued, but has not been finalized due to the fire pump room and a few other minor issues. And now The bank has finally decided to upgrade the IT Room located in the basement, The upgrades include new after hours air units, as well as new electrical work, and some minor architectural improvements, such as paint, insulation, and new lighting. There is also a plan to install a pre-action sprinkler system inside the IT room as part of this project. As part of this project we will also be installing two very small chiller units outside, next to the existing chiller. I have begun the process of applying for a zoning certificate to allow the exterior work to be completed.
