(Increased Importance factor used for seismic forces). Note: This is only for a seismic upgrade. No other aspects of this building were reviewed for code compliance. Work to include: new pier footings in basement, new strip footing on first floor for shear wall, new stair stringers, new wood shear wall, new LVL columns, new glue laminated beams, new strap connectors, new roof joists in specified locations, new joist hangers as specified, new roll blocking, new floor sheathing, new steel attached to inside of existing concrete walls, new connections to attach barrel trusses, and new nailing as specified. This building is not fire sprinklered. If this building is converted to an Assembly occupancy then a sprinkler system may be required. **TLW**
