Permit is for finishing the 248 sq. ft. unfinished basement area, to create a new basement bedroom with emergency egress window with window well, restroom and closet, as per applicant the basement is already completed (finished) and willing to remove any portion of wall at the discretion of the inspectors for inspections, work to include interior non-load bearing wall, exterior wall insulation, pressure treated lumber where in contact with concrete, vapor barrier, new egress window and window well, all work to be per the approved plans and current local codes, an electrical, plumbing and mechanical permit is required.
