(MCCLAIN COMPANIES – Mesa Falls Building – Ste # 110) Permit is to combine two office suites into a 6,032 square foot office/training suite (Previously these areas were occupied under BLD11-00711 & 712). This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase and non-separated use. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file and plan review report. Work to include: [construction of interior partition walls to create eight private offices, a break room, a studio area, an inventory room, a small conference room, separate sex accessible restrooms, a janitor’s closet and a large training room], installation of a new hi/low drinking fountain, installation of new lighting, new plumbing, minor mechanical work, installation of new accessible sales and service counter, installation of new doors / accessible hardware, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**

This inspection was again for the large training area. The exit sign has been repaired, an alternative exit path has been approved by tim with additional exit signs and emergency light but the area can not be used until a fire alarm permit has been applied for.

Inspection was for a partial occupancy in the large open area. I have three issues, first is the non-functional exit sign at the north exit, second is the secondary exit will be through a construction zone and a fire alarm permit is required for the new duct smoke detector.
