(15 PERMITS TOTAL FILED UNDER BLD15-01118 IN EPLANREVIEW) (THE KENSINGTON APARTMENTS - BUILDING A) The NFPA 13-R fire sprinkler system is used for occupancy. To construct a 9,258 square foot two story apartment building (5,342 sq. ft. 1st story with four 2.a units and 3,916 sq. ft. 2nd story with four 1.b units). All ground floor units are required to comply as Type B dwelling units. No elevator is provided in this building. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, concrete slabs on grade, wood stud bearing walls, wood stud shear walls, fiberglass shingles, fiber-cement board siding, manufactured stone veneer, 1-hr dwelling unit separations, .5-hr minimum fire-resistance-rated corridors with 20 minute smoke- and draft-control doors, exterior exit stairways fire rated like the corridor, steel stairways with concrete treads, interior nonbearing walls, millwork, and finishes. Special Inspection is required for soils and for concrete. The roof truss design is a deferred submittal item. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13-R as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**

Spoke with Brenda and she informed me that James is the project manager and is acutally here in Boise, but they didn't have his new cell phone in the system so she transferred me to Royce, his assistant. Left Royce a message stated that there are five permits for the Kennsington Apartments that are 17 days past their expiration date and they would need to send in a request for an extension if they are not ready to pick them up. Asked Royce to give me a call as well so that I know he recieved my message and understood what I was saying
