Request for TCO. The Code Official can support this request subject to the following conditions:
1.The existing fire protection system shall be maintained and active during periods the building is occupied;
2.The temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO) is permitted for a duration not to exceed 90 days;
3.When the building is occupied, if at any time the existing fire protection system is impaired a dedicated fire watch shall be provided by the owner to alert occupants of a fire event.

No FIR permit associated with this project at time of inspection, specified in Plan Review notes that a fire alarm permit will be required for project. The fire alarm panel was in alarm at time of inspection, repairs/modifications/additions to current fire alarm system are required, informed POC Lori, phone ###-#### to contact a fire alarm contractor to have system updated/repaired before life fire safety can be completed. Egress discharge area located on west side did not have exterior egress illumination, needs to be corrected before next inspection.
