Work is to include a new raised wood floor in the former garage, more headroom at the basement stairway, an extended basement stairway to match up with the elevated floor, a new roof to cover at the rear entry, a new exterior concrete ramp, a new exterior concrete stairway, guards, handrails, a restroom accessible to the disabled, millwork, and finishes. Special Inspection is required for concrete, welding, and for epoxy anchors. A separate Mechanical permit is required to convert the fireplace to gas.
