Micron Project No. C24074 - Micron Technology is building a new R&D 300mm Research and Development Facility (B51) at the Boise campus. The main building (B51) extending south from B50 has an estimated gross footprint of approximately 168,000 square feet of Type I construction. sub-fab, fab, and interstitial levels and will be comprised of the following areas:
• Approximately 56,400 square feet of production ballroom cleanroom (H5 occupancy).
• Approximately 56,400 square feet of production ballroom cleanroom cold shell (H5 occupancy).
• Approximately 11,200 square feet of chemical building with separation for incompatibles (H2 occupancy).
• Approximately 3,200 square feet of oxidizer and inert gas rooms with separation for incompatibles (H2 occupancy). Vestibule and loading dock will be needed.
• The remaining square footage on multiple levels includes east and west mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, smock and bootie room, etc. (H5 occupancy).
