Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a 4,003 square foot tenant space located in the South end of the building to be used by an audio / visual business. This tenant space was previously occupied by “Ballet Idaho” for offices and as a ballet studio. Egress for most rooms is directly to the outside at grade. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Racking that exceeds 8 feet in height requires a separate Building Permit. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, and similar finish work are not required to have a permit. No change of occupancy classification is allowed under this permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety.
