phone call with Curtis at Procraft Construction. The kitchen will be roughed out but no electrical or plumbing fixtures installed at this time. Told him unable to final ADU permit until kitchen fixtures installed per IRC R306.2 need kitchen area with sink to classify as ADU. Curtis said plans on transfering permit over to homeowner to finish out kitchen. Homeowner can apply for extention to building permit. Plumbing and electrical permits can be finaled out specifying only roughed in kitchen area. Another plumbing and electrical permit will need to be pulled when fixtures installed.
