Verizon Wireless is proposing the following scope of work at their BOI Zinger communication site:
Existing antennas remain in place and are unchanged
Swap out (3) existing 700MHz TRDU amps with new 60W RRH amps
Swap out (3) 60W AWS RRH amps with 90W RRH amps
Add (3) extra RRH amps for PCS
Final configuration will include (9) total RRH amps.
There will also be some minor modifications within the existing ground shelter; however, there will no change in ground space, power requirements or overall tower height. The upgraded equipment will provide new frequencies to prepare for the next generation and improve capacity coverage in the area.
The work will be performed per the approved plans, attached engineering and local codes. **DAF**
