This permit is approved contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: removal of select door/door frames, removal of select interior nonbearing walls, removal of select millwork, construction of select interior non-bearing walls to create (2) offices, an open office area and a mechanical/electrical room, new ADA accessible drinking fountain, relocation of existing light fixtures, electrical work, mechanical work, plumbing work and interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2012 IBC. Phone call with John about issue in Room 204 Mechanical/electrical. Room was not planned to have a ceiling but existing walls are not full height to the deck. Sprinkler contractor told them it was an issue and he wanted to verify. He was advised that yes some method to prevent smoke from traveling out of this space and therefore delaying sprinkler activation was required. He stated they would add a ceiling to the room.
