Description
Scope of work is to add 452 sq. ft. of new living space in the kitchen. Remove entire roof system 24 ft. in from the east sidewall and replace with new vaulted pre-engineered trusses. Relocte non-load bearing, south wall of existing laundry room. Relocate non-load bearing south wall of TV room. Relocate non-load bearing wall on the west side of the main entry hall. The entire home has had the sheetrock removed however the insulation and vapor barrier is intact. Therefore, the insulation in the existing structure does not need to be increased. The entire home will have new windows installed. Those window located in the bedrooms shall comply with today's egress requirements. In addition, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors shall be brought up to code and hardwired. A new furnace shall be installed per the approved Manual J. A 220 sq. ft. front porch will be added along with a 76 sq. ft. covered area in front of the garage. Electrical, mechanical and plumbing permits will be pulled separately.
