Description
The scope of work is to remodel the existing home by furring out the perimeter basement walls with 2x4 construction and min. R-13 insulation. Construct interior walls to create 2 bedrooms with code compliant egress windows and window wells, a family room, laundry/mech room and full bath. Work on the main floor consists of constructing 2 walls to an office and pantry room. Also, convert the existing 1 car garage into a kitchen and dining area. This garage conversion will comply fully with the energy code. Outside the home, a 28 sq. ft. covered patio will be constructed on the front of the home. Entire roof will be replaced with a pre-engineered 5:12 roof system replacing the old 2:12 roof. Separate electrical, plumbing and HVAC permits will be pulled by trades.
