(CITY CENTER PLAZA – CONCRETE FLATWORK, SCULPTURE, FESTOON LIGHTING, GUARDRAIL AT VRT EXIT RAMP, SEAT WALL, AND GAS FIREPIT) To perform miscellaneous exterior work at grade at various locations around the City Center Plaza building. Colored and standard gray concrete slabs on grade, benches, and a trash receptacle will be installed near the corner of Main Street and Capitol Boulevard. The cross slope shall not be steeper than 1 unit vertical to 48 units horizontal. The running slope shall not be steeper than 1 unit vertical to 20 units horizontal. No steps less than 4 inches are allowed. To install a sculpture near the Grove Plaza welded to steel base plates having welded stud anchors embedded into a reinforced concrete slab. To install 10 cables between buildings to support festoon lighting. Work includes cables; eye bolt lags; epoxy eye bolt anchors; a metal plate anchor with a welded metal rod loop, pipe spacers, and self-tapping screws; pipe spacers and shoulder eye bolt anchors; and perhaps pipe spacers and toggle bolts. To construct a guard around a planter located at the West end of the VRT bus exit ramp to discourage people from getting into the planter where they would be exposed to a greater falling hazard into the VRT bus ramp shaft. To construct a concrete seatwall in the proximity of a new gas fire pit having a 97” linear fire pit pan and a 96” long burner. The base for the fire pit will be constructed of concrete with sandstone veneer. A timer switch with manual override capability is required. Special Inspection is required for welding and epoxy anchors. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
