I spoke to the contractor and to the new owner about this project. I let both know that it is not ready for a final or a temporary at this point in time. The fire sprinkler permit has not been issued and work performed, missing fire extinguishers, missing exit sign/emergency lights, missing ceiling tile (heat trap), testing of the existing exit signs/emergency lights, missing doors and hardware, need verification of annual inspections of the fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, small documents missing. I let both gentlemen know that for a temporary occupancy an agreement would need to be approved by both the building code and fire code officials. This same information, for a temporary, had been previously emailed to Treasure Valley Fire Protection last week.


We are looking to get a temporary occupancy signature. The owner of the building that will be occupying this space once the minor TI is complete has to be out of his current leased space by December 31st 2016 and needs to move into this new space. Please let me know if you have any questions. The lock box to gain access is located on the south side of the building. The code is 1027. The last building permits that I could find for this building was BLD04-00041 for Mark Monitor located on the east side of the building and BLD04-00042 for CPR Connection on the west. We do not have any record of these two spaces ever being joined together as one.

Also, please provide a more detailed code analysis for the entire building such as occupancy class and occupant loads in various parts of the building, restroom count, etc.
