Plan Modification to move existing bedroom located in the basement to other side of the basement and install an egress window per code (see #438 handout attached). Also, move bathroom to other side of basement where the bedroom was. The window in the bathroom will be required to be tempered. Clearances of bathroom fixtures shall comply with the attached handout. A new wall and door will also be constructed at the bottom of the stairs to enclose the existing mechanical room. R-30 insulation will be installed in the ceiling of the mechanical room. **DAF** Both new windows shall have a minimum u-value of 0.35. The scope of work is to move an existing non-loadbearing wall between the existing main floor bathroom and the kitchen to make the bathroom larger.
