(ST. LUKE’S – HEARING AND BALANCE – SOUND BOOTH ROOMS) The fire sprinkler system is used for occupancy flexibility. To expand an existing tenant space into an adjacent 470 square foot area and to remodel the expansion area. The expansion area is located on the 2nd story of an existing 12,200 square foot building (6,100 square feet per story). Two sound booth rooms will be created (178 square feet and 208 square feet), a 6 inch high sleeper floor system and ramp will be constructed of fire-retardant-treated wood, and an access hallway will be constructed. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, sleeper floor systems, a ramp having a rise not to exceed 6 inches, and finishes. A sound booth will be provided in each room. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
