Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 2,459 square foot tenant space to be used as an office. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. This tenant is required to make sure a restroom is not occupied before they lock their restroom door. The adjacent tenant that uses the same restrooms should do the same. Unrestricted access to both restrooms is required for the occupants of this tenant space at all times. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety.
