(PETIT 4) Permit is to remodel an existing 1,350 sq. ft. tenant dining space. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: removal of select exterior windows and infill with 8” CMU, removal of the exterior two doors at the north end of the building and infill with a 2-Hour rated assembly (UL design U301), removal of approximately 20’ existing overhang at the north end of the building, removal of select 8” CMU wall that extended above the roof line at the east end of the building, remove and replace exterior select storefront windows, replace two exiting exterior doors with two new exterior doors, construction of select interior nonbearing walls to create two accessible restrooms for the disabled and a new janitors closet, select new millwork, select new portion of 2-Hour rated wall from the top of existing CMU wall to the top of the roof deck at the north end of the building (UL design U301), raise a select portion of the existing 8” CMU parapet wall to 30” above the roof line at the north end party wall, new roof beams will be installed to support new roof top equipment, new crawl space floor insulation, new ridged roof insulation (R25 Min.) and new roofing, new light fixtures, electrical work, plumbing work, mechanical, and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. This building is Not Fire Sprinklered. Note 1: special inspection is required for epoxy anchors on exiting masonry wall, see form #310 attached and Note 2: there is a previous approved 25-foot non-build easement on the adjacent lot see attached document **JG**
