(4 WHEEL PARTS – DEMOLISH PORTION OF MEZZANINE FLOOR – EAST END OF BUILDING) The fire sprinkler system is used for unlimited area of the building. The tenant improvement work will be done under permit BLD17-00371. To demolish about 388 square feet of an existing 2,350 square foot mezzanine floor. After the demolition, the mezzanine will have a floor area of about 1,962 square feet. Existing columns are required to be maintained. According to the project Structural Engineer, the demolished portion of the mezzanine floor does not provide any structural support, gravity or lateral, for the rest of the building. Work also includes interior nonstructural demolition. No new work is allowed under this permit. This permit does not establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant or for any portion of the building. The fire sprinkler system is required to be maintained operational per NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. CJW
