THE SWING OF A GATE WILL BE CHANGED TO SWING IN THE DIRECTION OF EGRESS TRAVEL AND PANIC HARDWARE WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE GATE. THUMB TURNS WILL BE REMOVED FROM EXISTING AUTOMATIC DOORS.) Phase 1 and 2-This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To expand a meeting room to 1,032 square feet, to expand the adjacent break room to 664 square feet, to create a 233 square foot conference room, and to create miscellaneous other rooms within an existing 14,680 square foot one story office building. Work is to include interior nonbearing wall, an interior 2-hr fire-resistance-rated occupancy separation wall (fire barrier wall) with 90 minute fire doors, interior doors and windows, a storage cage made from chain link fencing, service counters, a new suspended acoustical ceiling, a gypsum board soffit, lever hardware on existing doors, millwork, and finishes. New roof top HVAC units will be installed in conjunction with this permit. The new units are not allowed to weigh more than the units they replace. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. A separate fire alarm permit shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
