(THE PET GROOMERS - OCCUPANCY) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 2,950 square foot tenant space (1,800 square foot 1st story, 1,150 square foot 2nd story, and 207 square foot mechanical attic) to be used for pet grooming. The 2nd story has two means of egress. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist and except for two pet bathing stations to be installed under a plumbing permit. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
