(JD’S BODEGA – SPECIALTY MARKET – GROCERY STORE AND SEATING) The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise. To remodel an existing 1,885 square foot tenant space for a new retail sales and seating tenant space. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, two toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, walk-in cooler, walk-in freezer, food preparation area and equipment, floor sinks protected by a listed 2-hr through penetration fire stop, interior doors, an interior window, display shelves, millwork, and finishes. An existing steel floor beam will be strengthened to support the weight of the cooler/freezer unit. Special Inspection is required for welding and for sprayed fire-resistant materials. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
