(CHAPARRAL APARTMENTS - Fire Repair Permit) ""PREINSPECTION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE START OF ANY WORK"" Permit for repairs to an existing apartment building resulting from fire damage with work to include: structural work consisting of replacement and repair of select roof trusses per attached engineering evaluation report, and replacement of damaged walls, ceilings and floor finishes on the 1st and 2nd floor of the building as noted on the plans provided and the installation of smoke alarms in each unit is required and be installed per chapter 9 of the 2012 IBC. All work is required to be completed per the attached engineering evaluation report, original approved plans with no modifications without prior approval and resubmittal of plans. A certificate of completion shall be issued when work is completed and a final inspection has occurred. JG
