Work to include: removal of select interior nonbearing walls, removal of select door/door frames, removal of select millwork, removal of select gypsum and suspended acoustic ceilings, removal of select soffits, removal of select plumbing fixture and plumbing accessories, removal of select light fixtures, removal of select exterior EFIS, removal and replacement of select exterior doors within the existing opening, new construction of select interior non-bearing walls to create office areas, a configuration room, a customer lounge and a coffee break area, select new door/door frames, select new suspended acoustic and gypsum ceilings, select new light fixtures, new plumbing fixtures and accessories in the accessible restrooms for the disabled, select new exterior aluminum composite panel, electrical work, plumbing work, mechanical work and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. Remove the deadbolts from doors 102A and 119A and provide with single action, ADA compliant, hardware. Remove the exit sign in the Hallway that directs people to the Service Bays. Provide exit sign at door 102A as per sheet E2.0L. Remove all of the padlock haps.

I spoke with the project superintendant about several existing fire alarm notification devices being overspaced. These devices were outside of the project related fire alarm permit scope of work. The issues will need to be addressed prior to a life safety sign off since the building scope of work is an Request for Occupancy for the entire building.
