LUKE’S CMHC [CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC] – INTERIOR REMODEL) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and is used to substitute for a fire rated corridor and to allow nonrated openings in the West wall. To remodel an existing 10,811 square foot office tenant space to be used as a new medical office. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 6 toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings, interior doors, millwork, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Existing columns, beams, and bearing walls are required to be maintained. The fire sprinkler system is required to be installed throughout the building in compliance with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
