The renovation at 817 E Washington St. consists of making this 2 bedroom, 1 bath 1150 SF house into a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house by adding a 150sf addition to create a master suite by enlarging one existing bedroom and adding a master bathroom and closet.
Upgrades will be made to the existing bathroom and bedroom which include new windows, new flooring and new lighting. The enlarged master suite will also get new flooring and windows.
The renovation and small addition will be in keeping with the bungalow style. Wood framed windows and baseboard trim will match existing. Original existing 5 panel wood doors and hardware will be reused and matched where necessary. The existing claw foot tub will be restored and reused. New white oak flooring will be added throughout the entire house. There are no upgrades being done to the kitchen or dining/living area of the house.
