Work to include demo of interior non-structural partitions, new interior non-bearing walls, new exterior storefront and doors, new interior re-lites, new ceiling, new plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work, and new interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. The fire sprinkler system is used for unlimited area of the building AND to allow 3-hr fire barrier walls in lieu of fire walls. The fire sprinkler system is NOT allowed to be used for building area increase for A Occupancies.
