(D & B SUPPLY – RACKING) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. Tenant improvement work was done under permit BLD17-01694. To install (1) several 14 foot tall steel storage racks (storage 12 feet tall maximum) with shelves at 4.5 and 8.5 feet, (2) several 14 foot tall steel storage racks (storage 12 feet tall maximum) with shelves at 3, 6 and 9 feet, and (3) several 14 foot tall steel storage racks (storage 12 feet tall maximum) with shelves at 11 feet and “Lozier” display shelves installed below within an existing 3,292 square foot storage room located at the back of a 29,943 square foot retail sales room. The racks will be attached to the existing concrete floor using Power-Stud+ SD2 1/2 inch expansion anchors embedded at least 3.75 inches into the concrete floor. Two (2) anchors per foot plate are required. Periodic Special Inspection is required during anchor installation. The provisions of ICC Evaluation Report ESR-2502 are required to be followed. To install several 10 foot tall “Lozier” display shelves next to the North and West walls of the 29,943 square foot retail sales room. Hilti Kwik HUS–EZ 1/4" screw anchors installed per ESR-3027 and embedded at least 2.5 inches at all anchor / upright locations are required. Periodic Special Inspection is required during anchor installation. Other shelves do not exceed 8 feet tall. The racks and their installation are required to comply with RMI/ANSI MH 16.1-2008. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The configuration and width of aisles are required to comply with the approved drawings. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
